After a good enough time for rest and moments to get some force back from last school year, students are now back to their a-game once again. With school supplies ready, bags equipped, and minds prepared, it is time for the pupils of the blue and white to go back to the campus once again! The happiness filled within the students, from the Grade School department to the Junior and Senior High School departments alike, echoed throughout the campus as it would be for months to come.
Amidst the cloudy skies, the energy and excitement of the Ignacian-Marian students conquered the day as school year 2024-2025 began with the opening of classes held on the 15th of July, 2024. With the gates of the school opening for the students and accompanying parents, they were greeted by the school directress, S. Ma. Salvacion R, Borjal RVM with a smile and guiding hand. Together with the school directress, the students were also welcomed by the Basic Education Principal, Mr. Juanito B. Tan, along with the school administrators and other personnel. The Marian Student Government, which served as guides for students going to their classroom, was also present and active in making the most of the first day of classes.
Students along the corridors and classrooms were ecstatic and joyful as they went on to meet their friends once again and classmates for the year, both old and new. As the known bells ringing throughout the campus rang out, students from the Junior High School department went down to the quadrangle for the first morning ceremony of the year, fervently singing the national anthem and reciting the Panatang Makabayan while solemnly listening to the day’s gospel. With the morning ceremony ending, the students prepare for the day as their welcoming advisers begin the first day of orientation for the school year 2024-2025. During the orientation, students were given a glimpse into the life of Venerable Ignacia Del Espiritu Santo, as well as the behavioral expectations and a psychosocial activity coming from the school’s guidance center.
