Who’s ready to explore the rich history and vast knowledge at our very own national library in the country?
We are thrilled to present this year’s LAKBAY DUNONG: National Library of the Philippines Tour organized by the English Area in coordination with the Student Activity Program and the Senior High School Coordinator.
The term “Lakbay” is a Filipino, meaning “journey” or “travel.” It is often used in various contexts to refer to the act of going on a trip, exploration, or journey, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. “Dunong” on the other hand, is a Filipino word that means “wisdom” or “knowledge.” It is often used to describe a person’s intelligence, understanding, or learnedness. The term can refer to both practical knowledge gained through experience and academic or theoretical knowledge. This Lakbay Dunong would like to take students on a journey of rich and meaningful experiences through the resources and services of the National Library of the Philippines.
Lakbay Dunong is intended for all the SHS students. This will be done in batches with the assistance of the English teachers.
For more details, a letter to parents and guardians will be provided tomorrow.
Should you have questions and concerns, feel free to ask your English teachers.
See you!
